About Aire Valley Counselling & Therapy
Aire Valley Counselling & Therapy (ACT) is a not-for-profit organisation and was previously known as Versa which grew out of Keighley Womens Centre established in 1983. ACT exists to provide access for all individual adults over 18 to a range of counselling and psychotherapy at costs that are affordable.
ACT is a professional service, working to NHS clinical standards, and has an outstanding proven track record in helping people achieve better mental and emotional well-being.
Creative
ID Creations was commissioned by Aire Valley Counselling & Therapy to re-brand their existing identity in order to fit their environment and ethos following changes in the organisation.
Numerous concepts and logo designs were produced for the client to select from resulting in a few final tweaks to the chosen logo before sign-off.
The logo icon is made up of a combination of two heads which face towards each other. When combined, these heads create the look and feel of a butterfly. The idea is that two people come together to create transformation towards better mental and emotional well-being, hence the strapline ‘life changing work’.
Colours for the new brand were selected to reflect the harmonious colours used throughout the organisation’s premises.
For the website, ID Creations created a fully responsive WordPress site, using photography taken in and around the organisation’s centre. The design works across all devices including mobile phones. The website was an accurate reflection of the new organisation, more informative and offered a new point of contact for further enquiries.
